Cover Crop Mixes

Salt Tolerant Mix (33.4 Lbs/Acre)

This mix was designed to help utilize and “dry out” those wet areas that have developed salt. Although the primary use is to rehabilitate salty soil, all species also produce good forage.

Fall Mix (5 Lbs/Acre)

This mix is designed for added fall grazing that may extend into winter. All plants are very cold tolerant. Forage Turnips elevate compaction and contributes to grazing. This is a good mix for aerial seeding.

Consisting of four varieties of legumes, a warm season grass and a cereal grain, we maximize nitrogen fixation and forage tonnage. This mix works well when planted in early summer and precedes cash crops that require large amounts of Nitrogen.
